Cow Tattoo request

Here is a little cow I came up with for a Facebook friend who asked if I could do her a cute cow with a bell around her neck. I wondered how I was going to make a cow look 'cute' for a while there but she came together quite easily.
 I am pleased to say that my friend was very happy with the result. I will certainly get a kick out of it if she decides to go through with the tattoo! :)

Gecko!

A little gecko I did for a Facebook friend who was the first to reply to a status update of mine asking for ideas about what to draw. A little different to what I am used to drawing but it was fun.

Kendra

I felt the need to draw another mermaid last week. I had not done one in ages and I am happy with how she turned out. After a few suggestions from a good friend I decided on Kendra for her name.

Here he is all finished. I think I will call him Ruckus, I don't know why but I think it suits him lol

A Dragon's Lament

I'm tired of being a dragon,

Ferocious and brimming with flame,

The cause of unspeakable terror

When anyone mentions my name.

I'm bored with my bad reputation

For being a miserable brute,

And being routinely expected.

To brazenly pillage and loot.

I wish that I weren't repulsive,

Despicable, ruthless and fierce,

With talons designed to dismember

And fangs finely fashioned to pierce.

I've lost my desire for doing

The deeds any dragon should do,

But since I can't alter my nature,

I guess I'll just terrify you.

Another Fairy!

Can you tell fairies and dragons are my 'thing' ? lol
This is actually my first go at using different types of sketching pencils, seriously, I always used 1 HB graphite pencil but I grabbed a set of 12 graphites the other day ranging from 6B to 5H and had a bit of a play with the different softnesses (is that a word?)
Anyway this is for my sister in law who is yet another person who has been patiently waiting for one of my sketches. Hope she likes it.
I used a stock photo from deviantart.com and the lovely model's name is Elandria, u can find her here
The photo is not the best quality as I am working with a cam-corder and a laptop at the moment so I might get a better shot when I get my old pc up and running again.

Here she is!

My Angel is all finished and sent off in the post today!
The wings took me the longest to do because of the detail of all the feathers.

I also need to give credit to dazzle-stock for the stock photo I used at Deviant Art  I used this photo as reference here

This is my work in progress at the moment. Yet again I will be giving her away to someone special, in this case my lovely Aunt Linda who has had a rough time with health issues lately and I thought this would be a little more special than a bunch of flowers. Linda loves angels so I thought I would send her one to add to her collection.
I can't wait to finish her but I think those wings will take me a couple more nights!
Drawing faces is not my strong point but I am happy with how this one is coming along, she has a look on her face that I was trying to achieve so I think I have done something right there.
I will hopefully have a completed pic of her to post soon :)

The flight of the Dragon

Well something like that.
My nephew reminded me a few times over the Christmas holidays that he really wants a picture of a dragon like Uncle Dan's dragon here.
Having just given my Nude Fairy to my sister at Thimbelinas.blogspot (that's 2 now the greedy thing) I thought I had better fill his request and it actually only took me about 3 hours so it was a fast one. It was going to be his birthday present but I don't think I want to wait till July, I think he has waited long enough so I will be putting him in the post next week. Can't wait for him to get it now, the best part is giving them away to people that will treasure them :)
I love dragons so you might see more of them soon.
